  Malory and Tom are in the wilderness attempting to live. Suddenly, a man named Rick attempts to reach them through radio and urges them to proceed down the river, where shelter is awaiting them. This is a hazardous trek. At first, Malory opposes this notion, but at the end of the film, it becomes clear why she opted to embark on such a perilous voyage with her children.
