Nonbinary identities

Nonbinary (nb) identities are gender identities that don't fit in the traditional gender binary. These can exist for people who feel as if their identities are a combination of masculine and feminine genders or a refutation of both, entirely their own thing. Nonbinary people tend to use their own pronouns, most often they/them, but it can also entirely depend on the person and its always better to ask to be safe. Sometimes nonbinary people will switch between gender presentations frequently modulating their gender performance for how they want to be perceived, and how they want to exist in the world.  Just like binary trans people, Nonbinary people can choose what medical procedures they would want to undertake in order to alleviate dysphoria, but also induce euphoria with their bodies.
Sometimes binary trans people shift towards identifying more as nonbinary at some point in their transition identifying more with the experience of being trans in a way that the labels of man or woman don't quite capture. Either way, nonbinary is just one of many ways people express themselves out in the world.
