The Face of Media Studies
Before highlighting some of the things discovered within the archive regarding John Culkin and the M.A. in Media Studies program, it would be beneficial to first see how the program is exhibited not only on its own website but on the New School's timeline as well.
And while going into this program I knew that it proved “one of the first of its kind” and that it’s “one of the largest M.A. programs in the United States,” I went into the archives wondering what else was worth knowing about this program? From the above two images, we're given only a promotional glimpse into an important field of research. Of course, websites aren't expected to deliver entire histories or immediately direct you to the archives; however, how can projects such as this one be utilized to tell more engaging and collaborative stories?
