General Exterior + Minaret
Blueprint which is expanded on by Laura.
This, being the original blueprint to expand us, gives the basic structure of what the Mosque would be structured like. You can see a more detailed sketch of the structure on the poster board.Fences to be placed around the Mosque. These fences are to be placed on specific streets around the Mosque in order to maintain an element of security but also to help the building blend in aesthetically.
Minaret & StairsThis minaret has very distinct architecture which could blend in with the Spanish Missionary architecture surrounding it. We plan to use this minaret while scrapping the stairs leading to it as the minaret is near one of the side entrances. The stairs in terms of style and material, would be similar as well, except located on a different side of the building and hopefully going downwards to give a sense of openness.
This image showcases the general exterior material and color scheme of the Mosque, but also highlights what the dome would look like on the Mosque. Keep in mind that this is solely for material and color scheme not the structure. This was done in order to match the minaret and the surrounding area to some extent, while still giving an elegant difference.
Things to Remember:
They types of plants used will mirror that of the Garden/Courtyard page because it is imperative that for both concerns of water usage as well as consistent aesthetics, that the types of plants are similar.
