It included the first adjustable suspension system, made with hydraulic pumps and valves salvaged from a surplus B-52 Bomber. Aguirre used this equipment to raise and lower the automobile to pique traffic cops who believed it violated a California vehicle code regulation forbidding cars from having any parts closer to the ground than the bottoms of their wheel rims.
