The La Comtesse model featured a 235-horsepower V8 engine underneath a body with a dusty rose paint coat, a pigeon gray transparent plastic top, and chrome moldings running along the lower half of the car between the wheel wells. A number of its stylistic conventions were adopted the next year in Dodge’s La Femme model. La Comtesse was recently rediscovered in a garage in Southern California.
