This Scalar Storybook illustrates the inspirational work done by Betty Raphael, one of the most important women in the history of modern handcraft. In particular, this book his highlighting the exhibition hosted at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This was one of the first exhibitions involving the work of craftsmanship. As a result, this show was the start of the movement in modern craft-making.
