Glad you asked-- My project explores the role that humor and comedy play to communicate different social issues while simultaneously allowing pain to be processed and heal. I explore the topic of humor in society through various research (check out the diggggs in the Table of Contents below), personal experience (@Berlin for rockin), looking at different works of art (Lisa Kron you DOPE), and with ongoing research on different Late Night Hosts and Comedians that are tackling some of our society's toughest questions and controversial topics.
