You Have Arrived
across continents, across the stars, through dialogs with ancestors,
in prayers to the ocean,
we are learning and teaching each other
ways of building homes
while trying to undo what we and our people have done as settlers
we are learning the spells so that instead of taking space
we can bend and warp and create our own timespace
and build new homes
and families that can last longer than capitalism
and ways of loving that can sustain and heal,
hair braided in the stars,
arms around each other like a solar flare,
hearts arching, glowing, beams of celestial wind.
