Religion
Prudence and the rest of the Person family were Methodists and by all accounts were very religiously active in their community. Religion is one of the larger recurring themes in Prudence's scrapbook, though access to Methodist-related materials for the scrapbook might have been rather limited, considering Prudence mostly drew from newspapers when compiling the contents of her scrapbook.
