This digital exhibit was designed by Annie Tummino, Head of Special Collections and Archives, Queens College Library, in fall 2024. Dean Savage (Queens College Professor of Sociology) and Ann Shaftel (daughter of Oscar Shaftel) served as advisors on the project. The exhibit was created using the Scalar software. 

Text in "The Menace of McCarthyism" section of the exhibit was written by Dorothy Pita (Queens College alumnus) and Lawrence Kaplan (Queens College alumnus and Professor Emeritus of History at City College) in 2003 for a physical display at the Rosenthal Library at Queens College.
