My Success is My Responsibility

My teacher, Aunt Heather, would always say to her students, " My success is my responsibility". I still remember these blue words placed on the white, plastic block. Every time one of her students failed to complete an assignment or an exam, she would repeat these words and command us to do the same. This happens to be my favorite quote because its extremely realistic and as a college student, I can relate to it. This quote not only applies to academic success, but rather any factor of life that one wishes to succeed in. For instance, as I grade 5 pianist, in order to pass the exam I had to practice my musical pieces every day to achieve perfection. Life did not cease because of this responsibility, so I had to manage my time wisely. This quote will never go out of style as it applies to all aspects of life.
