Meal Plans at CWRU

The Problem with Dining Service at Case Western Reserve University

This book will take a look at the current meal plans offered at CWRU and the dining service that provides food at CWRU for the students. The above interactive widget gives an overview of the four chapters in this book and the order at which they proceed. At the moment there is an issue with the meal plans provided to the students at CWRU and that it that the price is to much for the service being provided. Currently the company that cooks food at multiple locations across campus is Bon Appetit. According to their wbesite, they are an

On-site restaurant company offering full food-service management to corporations, universities, museums, and specialty venues. Based in Palo Alto, CA, we operate more than 1,000 cafés in 33 states for dozens of marquee clients.

Case currently offers a mandatory meal plan to first year students and second year students that live in residential housing. This book will explore the current meal plan, how and why the price of the meal plan or structure of the plan should change, previous dining at CWRU, and some potential solutions to the current meal plan for future students attending CWRU.
