This photo depicts a 19-year old student who stands unnamed, single handedly stood for the fight against the communist party of China. He stands before a row of tanks on their way to shoot and kill student protestors in Tiananmen Square and while he is alone in the photo he stood in unity for all those fighting for their freedom. This mysterious man stands as a lasting symbol for freedom and defiance that is still carried in many human rights movements today. He stands there, alone, in solidarity with the many who fight for their freedom, similar to those who stand in front of cops during the BLM protests.
