Mark Twain in German-Language Newspapers and Periodicals

Wilhelm II. (German Emperor)

Friedrich Wilhelm Viktor Albert of Prussia (27th January 1859 – 4th June 1941) was the last German Emperor. His name is frequently anglicised as "William II."
During Mark Twain's stay in Berlin, he was invited to dine with the emperor and he would recount the occasion in his "Chapters from my Autobiography"  as well as in various interviews (Scharnhorst, The Complete Interviews).
