Mark Twain meinte vor einiger Zeit, es gäbe keinen neuen Witz unter der Sonne. Aber da war er noch nicht aus dem östreichischen [sic] Reichsrath an die Luft befördert worden, wie ihm das am letzten Samstag passirte. Der Witz ist entschieden neu.Mark Twain said some time ago that there was not a single new joke under the sun. But at that time he hadn't yet been removed from the Austrian Reichsrath, as happened to him last Saturday. This joke is decidedly new.
