| An Bord des Dampfers „New York“, welcher gestern von Southampton hier eintraf, befanden sich Samuel T. Clemens [sic] (Mark Twain), seine Frau und drei Töchter. Clemens sagt, daß er Vorbereitungen treffe für eine ausgedehnte Vorlesungstour um die Welt. Mitte August wird er damit in San Francisco den Anfang machen. | On board the steamer “New York”, which arrived here yesterday from Southampton, travelled Samuel T. Clemens [sic] (Mark Twain), his wife and three daughters. Clemens says he is making preparations for an extended lecture tour around the world. The tour will commence in San Francisco in mid-August. |
