Reflection
Contemporary art can be either positive or negative, it all just depends on how the artist wants the viewer to feel while in the presence of their work. Artists will always feed off the emotions that their works give people and it will help fuel them to create even more. Controversial work will always end up being seen, even if there is some company or organization out there that tries to get the work taken down. The media loves the drama, giving the artist more attention. MOCA has been a temporary home for many different forms of contemporary art for the last 50 years and will continue to be for many more in their newer building. Both the positive and negative works will make their way into the museum’s exhibits and give off their emotional aura to the guests who come to visit. Art is freedom.
