Benjamin Franklin and All His Witty Remarks: A Critical Edition of Three of Benjamin Franklin's Writings

Remarks: Rudeness of Staring

The irony of this statement comes when you realize that it is common knowledge that staring is considered rude in the US. Whites would stare at Native Americans when they came to their towns, despite them all knowing how rude it is to stare at someone. The Native Americans claim that they wish to stare at the whites as well but they do not because they understand that it is rude. Funny how the "savages" are the ones that refrain from being rude to another culture. For an interesting answer on why staring is rude visit the Quora website.
