Constitution for Work Environment

In addition to the strikes that were rampant across the coal mining industry at this time, many conflicts were occurring within unions. As discussed in the page involving Safety for the Workers, Kansas districts were doing what they could to fight for their workers, even combating directly with the national officers. In addition to fighting outwardly for their workers, the district also internally increased the quality of their own working conditions with a constitution for the benefit of their own workers.

This constitution was developed with the welfare of the workers in mind.
