Other Information

The Aratea was made for Louis the Pious, Charlemagne's son and successor. This manuscript presents Germanicus Phaenomena, a poem about astronomy and the stories of different figures from mythology. There are 39 full-page illustrations, all located in verso pages, which depict these figures from Antiquity.
