In the video above, this five-year-old kindergartener is developing learner agency by digitally annotating a visual text. She begins to struggle as she can’t seem to remember how to choose the text tool.  She presses on the iPad several times and notices that an arrow appears.  She knows this is not what she wants, so she deletes it.  She stops for a second and suddenly realizes where the text tool is located.  It is at this point that she seeks confirmation from the teacher.
