Evolution is an attempted step towards creating an optimized author that can pump out poetry faster than a human while still being original. However, in the end it fails, forcing the reader to realize that some ideals have already been achieved, and that some ideals cannot be perfected. Even though Evolution itself doesn’t progress much, it is a very thought-provoking work that pushes the bounds of self-betterment and ideals past what many often view them to be.
