Mushu kills Shan Yu

In the final act of the movie Mushu begins to prove useful on the battlefield as he helps defeat Shan Yu by launching a massive firework into him while Mulan is fighting him. Mushu does the honour of eradicating the evil from the story while getting the chance to come off as scary to some of the cities citizens. Mushu exposes the humans innate fear of things they do not know and gets the chance to act like a monster for a part of the scene. By the end of the movie we can see that Mushu was a powerful force behind most of the movies events and was used to move the plot forward as well as comedic relief due to his small stature.
