Author Credits
Gillian Battung is a student at Butler University and is expected to graduate in May 2022. She is majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders while also minoring in Creative Media and Entertainment. In addition to her academics, she is a member of the Butler University Dance Team, the National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association, and a multimedia reporter for the Butler Collegian. She hopes to achieve a career in audiology and help children with craniofacial abnormalities at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis.
Kaitlyn Beebe
Kaitlyn Beebe is a student at Butler University and is expected to graduate in May 2022 with Accounting and Risk Management and Insurance degrees. She is involved on the club tennis team, Cru, and the Student Ambassadors for Business Leadership. She hopes to obtain her CPA and get a job as an accountant or risk manager.
Jacob Charboneau
Jacob is from Indianapolis, attending schools in the IPS system and is attending Butler as a senior undergraduate student at the time of this book's writing. In the following fall he'll be pursuing a master's degree in mathematics from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Caitlin Dunlap
Caitlin is from South Bend, Indiana and now attends Butler University majoring in chemistry. She hopes to go off to graduate school after graduating in May 2022 to pursue a P.h.D. in analytical chemistry.
Luke Haas
Luke was born in Oxford, Ohio and grew up in rural Bath, Indiana. Through his primary education, he attended the Union County College Corner Joint School District. After graduating he now attends Butler University, seeking his degree in Pharmacy and is applying into the MBA program in the fall of 2020.
Colin Mulcahy
Colin was born and raised in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. He has attended school through the Grosse Pointe Public School System. From a very young age he has been an avid sports fan, and played baseball and basketball all the way through high school. Additionally, he ran cross country all four years of high school as well. He decided to attend Butler University, and major in Business.
Alec Neitzel
I am a sophomore Health Sciences major at Butler University. My contribution to the chapter was researching, writing, and editing the Public Health section.

Brady Neitzel
I am a sophomore at Butler University who is majored in Health Sciences. I researched, wrote, and edited the portion of Medicine and Health in West Africa related to the counterfeit drug industry and the black market.

Kylie Pfeifer
I am a sophomore at Butler University studying Health Sciences on the pre-medicine track with a minor in Chemistry. I contributed to the chapter through discussing the Medical Practices in Western Africa including the traditional and western practices.

Chris Strong
Chris Strong is a Class of 2022 English/Creative Writing Major at Butler University. She is also a student mentor with the Efroymson Diversity Center Dawg Days Program and a Student Researcher of the Etheridge Knight Collection at Irwin Library Special Collections. After graduation, Chris would like to write novels and work in film, television, and Comparative Literature.
