Subject B
This is Jonathan. A 27 year old white straight white male. John grew up in a blue collar family in a small town. His parents never had much and they worked hard to put food on the table. In Johns hometown, there was no diversity. They did not even have one person of color in the entire town. Because of this, John and his peers fell back on negative false stereotypes about other cultures to fill in the blanks about groups of people they knew nothing about. John has grown up his whole life being racist, sexist, and homophobic. He worked construction since you were a boy basically, and then disaster hit.
You are John. You have been placed in a temporary dorm in the new post apocalyptic world and so far you do not have a roommate. You get up and go for a run before the rest of the building is awake. The air is cold this morning and you have a feeling it will be a long day, you have been waiting to get put into work since you arrived. You are nervous about the fact they are putting a piece of technology called the empathy chip into everyone. You have never trusted government and you don't feel any better after the world fell apart.
You come back to the housing unit and you grab breakfast from the cafeteria. A lunch worker hands you a full tray and you turn around, you notice that many of the tables have colored people at them, so you move on and sit down with a handful of only white men. Its to early to have conversations with people you don't feel safe around. As your finishing the last bite of food, your name is called over the speakers to get the EC chip implanted today. You have 30 minutes to make it to the center of the city or they will banish you. What do you chose to do?
