Vibert C. Cambridge, Ph.D., is professor emeritus in the School of Media Arts and Studies, Scripps College of Communication at Ohio University. He served as chair of the Department of African American Studies from 2000 to 2006. Dr. Cambridge is also an alumnus of Ohio University, where he earned his Ph.D.

Nigel E. Cambridge, Ph.D. (Candidate), Political Science (CUNY, Graduate Center, New York) 

Nigel E. Cambridge, an alumnus of Athens High School, graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in political science from Ohio University. He went on to earn an M.A. in political science from Ohio University. He subsequently earned an M.Phil. in political science from the City University of New York Graduate Center where he is currently a Ph.D. candidate.
