Points of Entry

Community, Embodiment, Connection, Dis/Comfort, and Activism & Advocacy are the points of entry into the Four Rehearsals and a Performance (FRAP) oral history project. These five themes encompass what our interviewees discussed, gestured towards, and stated explicitly during our conversations with them. None of these points of entry are discrete categories and none of them can be definitively defined. However, the overlapping and co-constitutive nature of these themes provides insight into FRAP, its affects, its effects, and the ways in which the participants were moved by their participation.
