BTK stood for bind, torture, kill which was the fashion in which he killed his victims. Rader had a perfectly normal life from the outside, with a job, a wife and two kids, but what people did not know was that he was living a second life as one of the most terrifying serial killers in history. He has been the subject of many books, and more recently is the inspiration for a serial killer depicted on the Netflix show Mindhunter.
