Aids in the Barrio - Annotation on Rev. Floyd Naters Gamarra

Reverend Floyd Naters-Gamarra was an important religious figure among Latinos, specifically in the LA area, as he provided representation within the Episcopalian church that isn't normally seen. His mixed racial background and unique cultural upbringing gave him the ability to empathize with many, making him a beloved figure in his community. In 2016 he passed away in his sleep and was deeply grieved by the church.
