Aids in the Barrio - Annotation on Homophobia in Latino Culture

Due to the fact that a good majority of Latino culture is rooted in religion and tradition, homophobia and transphobia continues to be an issue within the Latino LGBTQ+ community. In researching this topic, I've come across an interesting study from 2012 that analyzed religious participation and metal health among LGB communities of color in NYC.
