Miklós Kiss (PhD) is Associate Professor in Film and Media Studies at the Department of Arts, Culture, and Media of the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. His research focuses on contemporary audiovisual media, intersecting the fields of narrative and cognitive film theories. Published in anthologies and academic journals (Scope, Senses of Cinema, Acta, Necsus, New Cinemas, Projections), he is an editorial board member of [in]Transition, the first peer-reviewed academic journal of videographic film studies.
