Like Morrison's articulation of point of view in "Site of Memory" and Jake Lamar's use of the third person guide in the text, I intend to show that through a multimodal reading platform like Scalar ways of guiding academic scholarship that allows a familiar mode of close reading and a distinct mode of close reading.
