Early Indigenous Literatures

Conclusion

This digital exhibit is clearly just the start of collaborative conversations between Black and Indigenous literary contributors. More research needs to be conducted on other contributors of color so that scholars can attempt to accurately depict their strategic modes of resistance against the Euro-American print culture regulations. I hope the exhibit exemplifies the necessity for Black and Indigenous scholars, artists, educators, and activists to come together and discuss concepts collectively, whether their conversations are about Early American print culture or other topics. Our spaces are richer and more productive when we collaborate effectively and efficiently, and solidarity efforts offer this safer space for different communities to organize and strategize collectively.
