Greek Life on Campus

Now the Library and Information Science Building, the Acacia House was located at 501 E. Daniel St. in Champaign from 1914-1985. "It was an ideal location, providing an excellent view of the southward growth of the University of Illinois campus and the corresponding shift of fraternity houses. The house was considered to be one of the finest examples of architectural design in the country" (www.rushacacia.com/history).
