Hi! My name is Emma and surprise! I LOVE HORSES! I have enjoyed these magnificent creatures from the very start, but my love grew into a passion when I joined 4-H as a bright eyed nine year old little girl. That was only the beginning. Since then, I have done everything I can to fill my life with all things equine. 
I was part of 4-H for eleven years and those were some of the best in my life. I learned everything I could about these creatures, from their anatomy and physiology, to diseases and lameness, to horsemanship and riding. When I graduated from high school I knew my equine journey wasn't over and so I began pursuing a career in veterinary medicine.
Since that time, I have spent countless hours shadowing equine veterinarians in both my home and university communities. I have seen many horses prescribed with many drugs and I have seen thousands of different supplements used in an attempt to enhance an equine's life and career. As I have made these observations, I have often wondered at the effectiveness of these products. I was thus inspired to cover this topic in a website format most closely related to a magazine format. In this way, I am hoping to provide a useful and informative tool to help enhance the education of members of the equine community.
