Transportation Emissions
Dean Foods operates one of the largest fleets of refrigerated vehicles in the country. They deliver to more than 160,000 outlets. The company set a goal in 2008 to reduce their distribution fleet's CO2 emissions by 50,000 metric tons by 2013. They met this goal in 2010, so in 2012 they revised the goal to reduce distribution emissions by 95,000 metric tons by 2020.
