What ethnic groups were incarcerated in WWII and why were the Japanese and Japanese Americans singled out for incarceration during WWII? Then focus specifically on the War Relocation Authority Camps where people of Japanese descent were incarcerated. What made Tule Lake different? Explore and discuss the differences in the camp population and treatment of the prisoners (working conditions, security, detention facilities, etc.).
