Choosing & Using Sources: A Guide to Academic Research at CSU-Pueblo

Search Types

Search Types

SuperSearch provides searching first by library- CSU-Pueblo, Everything, Course Reserves, and CSU-Ft. Collins using the drop down menu on the search box.  "Everything" includes open access materials.

The Advanced search option provides searching by keyword, title, author/creator, subject, and call number, as well as specialty numbers such as the Library of Congress call number and ISBN (International Standard Book Number).

Note: Find journals two ways: Journal titles will come up in SuperSearch within general search results. However, if you know the title of a journal you need to use (perhaps your professor recommends it, or you are given a list of specific journals), use the Journals A-Z link.
Advanced search also lets you quickly limit your results to Material type, such as books, audiovisual items, articles, and journals.
