Chicago's Community Response to COVID-19

There is no escaping how COVID-19 is affecting all of us around the world and here in Chicago. Watching tv and keeping up with the updates, as an artist, I was compelled to create these art pieces. The numbers depict the total number people infected by the the virus as of the date of the creating of the piece and it was so heart wrenching how fast the numbers grew within such a short period of time.

Series 3- "9,666" 18x36 (numbers of case in Chicago created 4/14/20)
