some watched the Border cross over them
some traveled across Borders.
We all have a different American experience—
we come from a variety of class structures
we come from a variety of cultures of labor
some of us are in the Academy
some of us come from Union Labor
some of us come from Agricultural Labor
some of us come from Catholic Labor (nuns)
some of us come from Global/Local Trade
some of us come from Business
some of us come from Corporations
some of us are Entrepreneurs
some of us come from the Arts
some of us come from the Military
some of us come from Government
All of us come from a variety of religious affiliations
some of us come from a varied Catholicism
some of us are atheists
all of us are spiritual in mestizo.
All of us Chicana, descendant from Mexico
at some time
in some way.
When we are, where we are, is how we are we, now.
