SIDLIT 2022 Awards

The awards this year were chosen by a three-person sub-committee who receive redacted copies of the nomination forms (submitter name and nominee’s name and school identifiers are removed). Only the submitter’s comments stating why they believe the person should receive the particular award remain. Each reviewer also gets a rating form for the nominees and then gives a numerical score rating based on how closely the nomination matches the bulleted award criteria listed on the C2C Awards page. Each reviewer independently sets a numerical score for the nominees on their rating form, and the forms are submitted back to the C2C Awards Chairman for tallying. The chair assigns the single trophy awards as per the C2C Awards page category to the highest numerical score.
The winner in each category will receive an engraved trophy as well as the opportunity to be featured in a short interview video to be played during the conference as well as permanently viewable on the SIDLIT Facebook page and in the C2C Digital Magazine. An ‘Honorable Mention’ printed certificate award is also mailed to all nominees in all categories, as well as their name and Honorable Mention category being posted during the Awards Ceremony during the virtual conference.
