Of the Gods

The Visitor

It is Loki, though you notice he does not look himself. He's paler than normal, bags under his eyes, his ubiquitous grin now a scowl.

You quickly stand up, running your fingers through your hair as it fights you to stay airborne.

You run up to your lover, hung him tightly, and grab his face to peck him on the cheek.

"How's my partner in crime? I feel like I haven't seen you for the last couple days!"

"I'm good," he returns with a deadpan tone.

Spoiler alert: He is not good. When a man has that look on his face and says "I'm good," he is not good. Complicated creatures.

Do you try to find out what's wrong?

"You sure don't look it. What's eating you?"

or

"If you say so." *wink wink*
