While Scalar content is loading normally now, saving is still slow, and Scalar's 'additional metadata' features have been disabled, which may interfere with features like timelines and maps that depend on metadata. This also means that saving a page or media item will remove its additional metadata. If this occurs, you can use the 'All versions' link at the bottom of the page to restore the earlier version. We are continuing to troubleshoot, and will provide further updates as needed. Note that this only affects Scalar projects at scalar.usc.edu, and not those hosted elsewhere.

You knock on the door. It opens on its own, and you are greeted by the boss. He motions for you to sit. You feel your hair stand on end, static electricity filling the room.
"I've received some information from an anonymous source that you have not been following your sacrifice quota for the century. Now we've had this conversation before, Ho. What are we going to do about that?" he leans closer to you.
"I....I... don't understand. I haven't even been to Earth recently. I am starving up here. Do you really think I was me?"
"Well, we did find through some routine canvassing after receiving the tip that there was a spike in violent deaths near your original impact site."
"Ahahaha, ok, sir." you neatly place your hands together, linking your fingers. "Not to call you a 바보 or anything, but you do realize that my original impact site is located in what they call North Korea? Violent deaths within the region are... to be expected," you shrug.
"Yes...I am fully aware of that Miss Ho. Though, the difference of these violent deaths is that each of the victims were....missing their hearts."
