Dana Reijerkerk

Dana Reijerkerk is a data analyst, data scientist, digital asset manager, taxonomist, video game designer, and writer. Her data work and research in the cultural heritage and nonprofit sectors explores sociotechnical issues in data with emphasis on the intersections and borders between technology and social power structures. She has published on the absence and omissions of Library of Congress Subject Headings for Indigenous Long Island, Trusted Digital Repositories, Indigenous federal recognition, and decolonization through user experience/user interface design. Her most recent interactive design is All Are Welcome (2023), an immersive psychological horror story and video game that explores the terror of Black and Indigenous experiences through public art and artificial intelligence. 

As a decolonial scholar and social justice activist, Dana’s worked with and in Indigenous communities on the east coast of the U.S. (Seneca, Lumbee, Anishinaabe, Shinnecock), Madagascar (Vezo), Costa Rica (Maleku), and diaspora enclaves in the U.S., South America, and Japan (Okinawan, Ainu). Her avant-garde and innovative work in digital archives, decolonization, and digital storytelling has earned her recognition as a 2023-2024 LEADING Fellow at Drexel University and a 2020 Museum Computer Network Fellow. She holds a Masters of Information (University of Michigan) and a degree in American Indian Studies (University of North Carolina at Pembroke). 

kYmberly Keeton

Meet kYmberly Mieshia Dionn Keeton - a true master of her craft with an extensive and diverse skill set. Keeton currently holds the esteemed position of Chief Artistic Officer at THE K AGENCY, a dynamic creative information company, while also serving as a Certified Notary of the Public. She has excelled in various fields, including being a published author, an accomplished art librarian and archivist, and an expert in curating family history. Keeton's work has earned her numerous accolades throughout her career, such as being recognized as an American Library Association Emerging Leader and a Library Journal 2020 Mover and Shaker. Apart from her impressive professional achievements, Keeton is also a respected leader in her community. 

As the Founder and Soror of Gamma Pi Beta Sorority, Inc., she is also a Top Lady of Distinction, Inc., and an active Douglass Club of Austin member. Furthermore, she is Doctoral Candidate in Information Science and Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of North Texas and has been awarded the coveted Mark E. Rorvig Endowed Graduate Fellowship. Keeton's unwavering passion for the arts led her to create ART | library deco, a virtual African American art library, gallery, and repository. 

Her exceptional work as a writer, librarian, archivist, and scholar has earned her recognition as a 2023-2024 Leading Fellow at Drexel University and in the University of Kansas Black Book Interactive Digital Scholars Program. In her free time, Keeton enjoys indulging in her hobbies of reading, writing, and designing while spending quality time with her beloved furry companion, Roxy Blue.
