Skaters in the City: Conflict, Evasion, Production, and Tense Relations

These videos show Lesque skaters--primarily Itoshin and Ishiko--riding in Tokyo, Kyoto, and Nagoya while collaborating with videographers and photographers. The scenes are constructed to show the temporal intensity of duration (how long, how many attempts are made) and the kinds of improvisations around space and other people. Conflict, trespass, and persistence are constant features of these moments.
