A belief system harmonious with Christianity, the Peace Mission accepts the Christian Old and New Testaments as legitimate and inspired scriptures, as it does the orally transmitted and dutifully transcribed words of Father Divine. Jesus Christ is accepted as the incarnate son of God, and Jesus' Mother is accepted as virginal and the exemplar of a life consecrated to true and faithful religious service. The power and presence of the third person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, is accepted and acknowledged in ritual contexts, as well as in everyday living.
