I am a second year doctoral student in the Department of English at the University of Victoria in Victoria, British Columbia. I completed my MA in English at UVic in 2010, earning a concentration in Medieval and Early Modern Studies and defending a final project on Ralph Roister Doister (c.1553) and issues of early modern textual communication. My areas of research currently include the digital humanities as both field and practice, textual representations in the digital environment, early modern manuscript and print culture, early modern non-Shakespearean drama, and class within the academy.

I work with Ray Siemens and many others in the Electronic Textual Cultures Lab (ETCL) in Victoria, researching various topics at the intersection of the textual and the digital. Our most recent efforts include a WikiBooks-based social edition of the sixteenth-century poetic miscellany the Devonshire Manuscript.

I also serve as an editorial assistant for the peer-reviewed journal Early Theatre. Based at McMcaster University, Early Theatre publishes original research on medieval and early modern drama in the British Isles.
