2013: We Are What We Eat
Urban food security projects (such as the Gardening Angels, Phat Beets, Growing Power and People’s Grocery, among others) provide jobs, support ecological and personal health and ease economic pressure as the global economy continues to decline. Inspired by Black Panther Free Breakfast Programs of a quarter century earlier, groups begin organizing locally grown food and supported breakfast programs.
