How to use this book
Navigation: Please note the menu bar at the top left of your screen. Hovering over this bar will reveal the Table of Contents. Each entry is a live link you can click to bring you to the desired page.
Please also note the buttons on the home page. Clicking on a button will begin a different "path" you might wish to take through the material. For example, clicking on the first button, "Start Lecture Readings," will start you on a path that includes all of the lecture readings you can read online. When you reach the end of the first document on that path, you can choose to either skip ahead, by clicking on a blue link, or use the blue "begin" or "continue" button to continue to the next essay in the book.
You can also return to previous pages in the book by clicking on the "back" button, which is located next to the blue "continue" button.
Navigating pdfs should be very straightforward: click on familiar icons in the navigation bar to download, print, or rotate the view.
